Summary: Prostate Cancer that requires Hormone Therapy

A six month Depot formulation of Leuprolide in subjects with prostate adenocarcinoma.

Subjects will receive two intramuscular injections of the investigational leuprolide acetate 45mg depot formulation 26 weeks apart. Laboratory samples will be collected in a timed fashion based on injection times. Office visits will depend on weather or not you would like to participate in the pharmacokinetic aspect of the study.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the prostate
  • Able to carry on all usual activities without restriction

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Other cancer besides prostate and skin
  • The current use of another hormone therapy within 32 weeks of prestudy visit
  • History of prostate surgery within 4 weeks of prestudy visit
